No Man's Sky Adventures | Behind the Blog | 3 Vids in one day !!

Hi Chums,

Done 3 videos yesterday, one  though was a quick clip of my Live Video where I aired my predictions for the release date of the BEYOND update for No Man's Sky:

(Check the video description for a link that backs up this speculation, that came out after my thoughts).

I also done a video on how to gain FREE ships in NMS:

And done a Base Off with Steve King and Technical Gaming 101:

After the Base Off I stuck around with Steve King and showed him how to make the old Style Nokia Phone as a Base, it was fun, lets see if he uses it on Saturday.

NMSA | No Man's Sky Adventures | Permadeath Live EP0003 | Blog

Hello Chums,

In the episode below I manage to craft some warp fuel and jump to a new system:

I then played on after the stream, Mining Copper to refine into Chromatic Metal so I could make a Large Refiner, this took me near on an hour to locate and mine.
I also found some exotic salvaged tech and tested the large refiners replication function, tested it a few times just to be sure… then I tested it some more… enough to buy a ship.
I then went on my freighter and purchased a Hauler, the best I could afford (only a 30 slot one) but then you can use a freighter exploit that lets you trade the ship for another and still keep both, that I will show people in the next episode.

NMSA | No Man's Sky Adventures | Permadeath Update

Hi Chums,

EP0002 of Permadeath done:

I continued to play after the stream, I found the Landing Pad and Outpost Daniel Spotted.  I headed to that and built a new base and removed my old base.

I also dug up some salvaged tech and got 100k units and got the microprocessors.
Installed the Hyper Drive... just need to craft the fuel.

That should happen in tonights episode !!

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | Permadeath Taking Off | Captain Steve

Hello Chum's,

I started a Permadeath save, the aim being to get to the galactic center and earn the trophies.
Take a deep breath and To live forever.

Both you gain from completing the Atlas path in Permadeath.

The plan, fix my ship, craft a load of warp fuel, join random peoples games and find one not to far from the center.

Find a nice planet, make a simple base, craft a load of warp fuel, find a explorer with good hyper drive range and jump to the center... not doing it the long way... not the best at permadeath.

However 1st I have to take off !!

Also done a Base Off hosted by Mr King:

Would say this time was a draw...

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | PSVR Review of Ark Park | Captian Steve and Exo Opinions and Rating

Hi Chums,

This game Chum's isn't great, even on discount I feel robbed.

If you are a Massive Dino Fan, or Ark Fan, then you might like this.
However I feel this game had lots of potential, it's just poorly done, too many loading screens, movement and the controls are horrid.  Music is good and fitting, some of the puzzles I enjoyed, but once you have done it once it's repetative and the grind to gain better weapons and gear feels like a 2nd job, it's not fun enough to hold my attention.

Please watch the video and see what I mean.

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | Behind the Videos - Sorry Blog - and I have hit 900 Subs !!

Hi Chums,

Sorry for not doing a blog for the last few days.
Here is everything that has taken place:

(Cobra joined the stream and really made my day).

On the day I did the above Live Stream 2 videos dropped one by MZK saying very little was happening in No Man's Sky and how it effected him and his content creation and was pretty negative saying Hello Games had gone back to their old ways, and 3 hours later one by Cobra saying Amazing things where happening.  Cobra's Twitter post below:

And when I posted MZK's video on Twitter I gained a reply from Pixie (Cobra's partner), I saw Cobras message as related to Pixies in stance and them wishing to detract from nagative views such as MZK's (without mentioning him). I saw this as two content creators in disagreement:

I posted a video and placed the title as Cobra Vs MZK, this wasn't met well by Cobra and he labelled it as fake news, I changed the title of my video out of respect and to keep the peace and said sorry for my confusion:

However from where I sat and perhaps others on looking may have drawn the same conclusion, all I was hoping to do was smooth things over and I made it worse... really felt upset at my self for upsetting Cobra, MZK or any of my viewers...

Hence the break in my Blogs, and was thinking of the best way to communicate out my part in this, thought a simple blog that laid out my train of thought to be the best approach.

Here is my video now titled What is Happening in No Man's Sky, enjoy:

Will learn from this mistake, and again sorry for any miss-understanding.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I have also done some reviews of PSVR games:

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

And I have hit 900 Subscribers:

Thank you all so much !!  Super Happy, the next one I hope to do if I am lucky enough to reach 1k, is I will do coverage of my Dart Frogs and why I like them so much.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Also I have done another Base Off, Boid won this one by recreating a McDonald's and it is AWESOME:

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

And my last video was off of the back of Khraze Gaming's new video on how to make Units in No Man's Sky, I tested the Ancient Bones technique:

-=-=-=-=-=-
What I am doing Next:

Tonight (Monday) hoping to put out a video reply to Cobra's latest video on the Economy in No Man's Sky BEYOND (MMO aspect) and Spot Light a few other Content Creators.

This Tuesday I hope to cover off what I get from my Frigate Missions and Units Gained from a fleet.

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | x2 VR Reviews and x2 Base Off Build Contests Video Created | NMS | NEXT | Blog

Hello Chum's,

This weekend on No Man's Sky Adventures I have done not one but two VR games reviews from my Man Cave up in my Freighter.

First was Battle Zone, not a great game, kind of like Cyber Sled or Assault Rigs, but not as good or as ground breaking (They came out in the 90's)... Any way here is the review:

The 2nd review was of a stunning platform, adventure, puzzle game called Moss, and I loved this... Brilliant game:

I also done another Base Building tutorial on how to make a Tie-Fighter:

Done a Base Off against Boid, Action Pants KDog and ER Burrough's, I didn't win, but I did make a Tie-Fighter and a strange Alien like craft:

Had a few others that really wanted to join the Base Off so I done a 2nd one on the Sunday, this time against JCHysteria, Steve King and Meri Lizzie, didn't win that one either...hahaha:

Had a great time doing both though... Playing No Man's Sky with this community is awesome.

Links to all the base builders channels are in the video descriptions and end cards of the videos as click-able icons !!! (Not long learn how to do that, thanks Hawkes).

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | Captain Steve Visits Low Orbit Space Bases | NMS | NEXT | Blog

Hello Chums,

Another two videos published last night (on the 06th June 2019).

Top 5 wish list for Space in No Man's Sky BEYOND:

Some really good comments on this video with other peoples ideas and suggestions, really hope Hello Games come across the Top 5 videos I am making.

Next I done a Live Stream and we looked at two low orbit bases by JCHysteria and ERBurroughs (click their names to go to their YouTube Channels).

Honestly blown away by the skill of these awesome base builders, hope to return soon and build my own low orbit structure and AmericanPsycho is building a base here, hope to show them both off live either Sunday or Tuesday coming.

Hello Chums,

05th June 2019 - No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA |  NMS Guide | All Exotic Trophy Locations | NEXT - Blog

I created a live stream of me visiting all of the planets on the 4th, see previous blog.  Not everyone has an hour free to watch a video, so I made a 10min version:

While doing these two videos I had an idea to make a top 5 wish list of Biomes I would like to see in a future update/patch:

I enjoy making top 5 vids, thinking about doing a top 5 wish list for Space improvements next.
However I also want to review Super Hot... Unsure what I will do first, but I will be doing both.

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | All Exotic Planets Live Tour | NMS NEXT before BEYOND - Blog

Hi Chum's,

Spent 4 to 5 hours prior to the live stream warping like a mad man to find all the Exotic planets, named the systems and the planets so I could present them all in 1 hour for you all and give you some tips during this live stream.

No Man's Sky has all the normal Biomes, these Exotic ones and then Anomalies (stange colours and flora, rings etc) Known as Mega Exotic: https://nomanssky.gamepedia.com/Biome_-_Mega_Exotic

I don't know exactly how many Biomes there are, I do know the Biome count has gone up from launch, more so when NEXT launched and I am hoping we see more as the BEYOND update come out.

Some I would like to see:
  • Floating Island's (with waterfalls above oceans)
  • Volacanic worlds (Lava or boiling oceans)
  • Land before time (larger fauna and chances of Diplos)
  • Foss Worlds (E3 colour scheemes)
  • Droid Worlds (Sentinel Mechanised worlds with mech like fauna and flora)
I plan to do a 10 min none Live Location codes video for all the planets tonight.
Stay tuned to No Man's Sky Adventures.

No Man's Sky Adventures | NMSA | Captain Steve & Exo Review Astro Bot | PSVR | Demo - Blog

Hello Chum's,

I tried something new today, I don't really have a Man Cave in real life so I made a Man Cave inside the Freighter in No Man's Sky, I then use a Holographic Cube to ask exo to load a VR game and review the game with Exo on the Frieghter.

Here is the first one I have done:

Very nervous on moving to another gaming area, however keeping it within NMS I am hoping will appeal and retain subscribers and viewers.  That said the games I am reviewing are Playstation VR titles.  I purchased PSVR for BEYOND and I know I would have liked to have seen other titles as it was an expensive outlay.

I will look at trying to review VR games that on on multiple platforms such as Red Hot in the near future, and I wont be doing these reviews on the nights of live streams.  They are bonus content... In time I may look at my schedule and what I cover depending on No Man's Sky content.

Hello Chums !!

This weekend, I have been pretty busy here on No Man’s Sky Adventures (NMSA)… I came 2nd in a base off against Mr King…

I started a search for an S-Class Freighter, didn’t go well…

So I then thought, nope let’s keep the old Freighter and build a Man Cave on-board… and then I found an A-Class 34 slot Freighter…

Now I am rebuilding my Freighter, won’t add a farm on it this time, as I now have farms on every biome, will however make a Man Cave and News desk, pad it out for daily missions.

JCHysteria made me some new logo’s for my channel, already having a logo I think his will fit well to my VR videos I plan to do from my Man Cave.

Here are the logo’s he made for me:

And here is his channel on YouTube, he is an amazing base builder, check him out.

I have now hit 800 subscribers and made a thank you video:

Thanks all, Captain Steve and Exo.
